At the Teramachi jinja, close to my motherinlove house, there was a new year decoration, this curtain of raw fabric and the writing in Japanese kanji Taishō. This is the name of the emperor Taishō, that give the name to the Japanese history of his reign, dating from July 30, 1912 to December 25, 1926, the names of Japanese history are always given by the emperor of the period.
