Sakadaru are the traditional Japanese sake tubs, are wooden tubs containing the sake. Is tradition to bring some sakadaru as present to the temple and to open them at midnight on new year's eve, and offer sake to the people visiting the jinja to wish a lucky and prosperous year. Here people is holding the sake tub on a sledge like and walking in the temple court under snow fall. In Kitakata there are many sake factory, brewery, because in this area the water and the rice, ingredients essentially for sake, are very good and so the sake is very good. Photographed at night in ambient light, in the temple's court, 500 iso, 85 mm. lens at f. 1.4 at Teramachi jinja.
