Chawan with writings
A nice chawan, a cup for the tea ceremony, I had the pleasure of drinking matca prepared by okasan for me. This cup is a kyoyaki, it means it was made in Kyoto, is light brown ceramic with red character, with a great calligraphy, considering that is made on a curve surface. I love the Japanese style, the matching of colors, the fabric here has te same intense green of the matcaha, the green tea in the cup. Photo taken with 105 mm. macro lens, natural light from the window at home in Kitakata.
