Cherry blossom in Meguro in Tokyo. A nice and long pathway along the river Megurogawa, full of cherry trees, a perfect spot to indulge in hanami (flower contemplation) a Japanese tradition. All photos taken with Nikon D3x with 85 mm. at f 1.4 in natural light from down to dusk, is called also the magic hour. At early evening the paper lanterns glow of a warm light against the cool sky and background.

The full blossom at Chidorigafuchi in Tokyo in a glorious sunny day. Thousand of people gather along this spot to admire the cherry blossom, many tourists from all over the world come to Japan for this incredible show. All photos were taken with Nikon D3x and 85 mm. lens f 1.4 fully opened to have a nice bokhe effect.
On the highway from Fukushima to Tokyo there is the service area of Hanyu, in the Saitama prefecture, is very nice place to buy food and beverages, have meal and buy souvenirs. The place is new and is made in traditional architecture, so make it very cozy and relaxing. All photo taken with Nikon D3x with 17-35 mm. lens.
