Kagahosho


Kagahosho are little sweets from Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. Are made of a layer of yokan (anko, azuki marmelade) between two layers of rakugan (rice flour and sugar) the the substance is little hard almost like a bisquit. Japanese have always great packaging, very precious box and refine lettering. Thank you Naomi for the sweet present! Photgraphed with Micro Nikkor 105 mm. lens using led lights.
