In Tokyo rarely it snows, or almost never, I was lucky and saw the snow falling so copiously that the train we got in the afternoon was working fine, late trains where cancelled for too much snow! Must say that snow make panorama in Japan very interesting, as change completely the landscape, at least for me that I saw mostly in Summer. Weather was very bad that year (December 2004) there where few accidents with trains, a lot of houses damaged by too much snow on roofs! Here is Nakano. (initally posted on the 14th of July 2007)
